What to expect

Four things worth knowing before you join

Most people spend weeks deciding whether to click that link. Here is what is actually on the other side of it.

  1. Nobody makes you talk

    Join, keep your camera off, say nothing at all, leave when it ends. Plenty of people do exactly that for weeks before they speak.

  2. It is not a lecture

    People share what happened, what changed, and what they are struggling with this week. There is no curriculum and no homework.

  3. You do not have to be ready to quit

    If you placed a bet an hour ago you are still welcome. I have heard worse in that room from people who are years clean now.

  4. Nothing is sold to you

    It is free and it always will be. No upsell, no pitch, and I do not add you to anything for turning up.

Gamblers Anonymous asks twenty questions. Most compulsive gamblers answer yes to seven or more. It takes two minutes and nobody sees your answers.
